Food 4Kids Backpacks collaborates with Sierra Blanca Book Share Project

Backpacks stuffed with critical weekend nutritional supplements to help hungry youngsters who depend largely on school meals for their sustenance just got better. They are being garnished with a new ingredient this year, food for the mind.The Ruidoso Food 4Kids Backpack program which last year sent home more than 15,000 backpacks and estimates a 2015-16 school year total of 18,000, is working with a local effort to provide books for children.
